NATURAL ~ It happens very occasionally that our chessboards get small cracks. At a humidity lower than 50%, the climate in the house becomes too dry and wooden furniture can dry and shrink, resulting in cracks. It is called 'working wood'. This can be kept within limits when the humidity remains between 50% and 60%. Our experience is that the chessboard after tearing once and filling it with wood filler, then (almost) no longer tears. The leg of the chess table has been skillfully selected to bring the olive tree back into view. The luxury chess table has been sanded and oiled to ensure that you can experience chess optimally.
COMPONENTS ~ The Intelligente chess board table comes with a leg, base, 4 small legs and chess pieces. The leg and base can easily be unscrewed from the chessboard, so that you can also use the chessboard table as a normal chessboard by screwing the little legs under the chessboard. RARE HARD WOOD ~ The material of our chess tables, olive wood, is one of the hardest woods in the world. Olive trees can give olives to up to 1000 years. As a result, the olive wood is difficult to obtain. Olive trees are on average only felled after about 150 years, as most trees give less and less olives after this time. Because the trees can develop for so long, the unique, characteristic shape and drawings are created in the wood that we use.
